Love …

You cannot understand love through intellect. It needs to be felt. And anything that needs to be felt needs synthesis, not analysis. You have to become one with it to know it. Whatever you know through the head is at a distance. The subject-object relation will always remain. But love is not like that. The taste of the pudding is in tasting, music is in hearing it. In the same way, feeling.

LOVE !!

Sri Sri’s wisdom on LOVE:
If there is one substances by which everything is held together and you want to give it a name, you can call it love. It is the basis of all existence. All the cells in your body love each other, that is why they are together. The day they stop loving each other, it all disintegrates.
Love is not all wiggly wiggly and mushy mushy, “Oh I can’t live without you, I love you so much”, and so on. It is not that. That is just an emotional something. Love means (silence)… that is it.
Love is indescribable. You can’t describe it. And there is not a creature on this planet who doesn’t know it. From the insect to the lion, from a chicken to an enlightened person, everybody has experienced love. Love for life is what we think it is, but life itself is love. So see, through this knowledge, that the whole universe is love.
Love is not just an emotion, it is your very existence. The earth loves the sun, that is why it keeps going around the sun. The moon loves the earth, that is why the moon goes around the earth. Wherever there is a force, or there is energy, or a pull, or attraction, you call it love.

Waiting !!

Love waits, love can wait infinitely, only love can wait. If you love, you have such trust that you can wait. And god comes only to those who know how to wait. God never comes through desiring, he comes through waiting. Waiting is a passive desiring: you desire and yet you don’t desire; you desire and yet you don’t say ‘right now!’ You say, ‘Whenever it happens, I am happy and I am contented. Whenever you decide, that’s the right moment: this life or another life, it doesn’t matter. I will be waiting, I will wait forever!’

Time becomes irrelevant for one who can wait; hurry is no more there. And when there is no hurry and no time-consciousness, in that very instant god happens. God can happen this moment. We just need to be utterly silent and waiting. So this is the paradox: if you ask that he should happen right now you will have to wait very long… maybe forever; if you are ready to wait forever he can happen right now. In fact if you can wait he has already happened in that very waiting. He comes so silently, even the footsteps are never heard.

So meditate over it and allow that feeling of waiting….

The 5 Insights !

“The biggest victim of one sided love is God… He loves you so much… and you don’t even recognise it…”

“Love is your nature…
But in the process of its expression.., you often get caught up in the object…
This is when your sight is caught outside…

To return back to your nature..,
you need insight… (The Five Insights)

Pain is the first insight…
It takes you away from the object and turns you towards your body and mind.

Energy is the second insight…
A bolt of energy brings you back to your Self.

Divine Love is the third insight…
A glimpse of Divine love makes you so complete and over rules all the relative pleasures.

Trance is the fourth insight…
An elevation of consciousness and partial awareness of the physical reality around is Trance.

The conviction in the non-dual existence.., that all is made up of one and only one.., is the fifth insight…

When love glows.., it is bliss.
When it flows.., it is compassion.
When it blows.., it is anger.
When it ferments.., it is jealously.
When it is all ‘nos’.., it is hatred.
When it acts.., it is perfection.
When love Knows.., it is ME..!”

Love, Relationship, Relating

Relationship means something complete, finished, closed. Love is never a relationship; love is relating. It is always a river, flowing, unending. Love knows no full stop; the honeymoon begins but never ends. It is not like a novel that starts at a certain point and ends at a certain point. It is an ongoing phenomenon. Lovers end, love continues. It is a continuum. It is a verb, not a noun. And why do we reduce the beauty of relating to relationship? Why are we in such a hurry? – because to relate is insecure, and relationship is a security, relationship has a certainty. Relating is just a meeting of two strangers, maybe just an overnight stay and in the morning we say good-bye. Who knows what is going to happen tomorrow? And we are so afraid that we want to make it certain, we want to make it predictable. We would like tomorrow to be according to our ideas; we don’t allow it freedom to have its own say. So we immediately reduce every verb to a noun .
